Greetings,

Thought that I would let you know about a little trail in the makings.
It is soon to be the sweetest single track in Louisiana. Currently the
trail is about 2.5 miles long, but don’t let the distance fool you.
There are climbs and descents that very few people have experienced in
this state. The trail was built and designed for speed.

The location: About 15 miles norteast of Bossier City in the Bodcau
Recreation Area, part of a wildlife refuge managed by the Wildlife and
Fisheries Department. Directions: Take Hwy 157 North from I-20 (the
Haughton/Fillmore exit) about 12-15 miles, landmarks at the road to turn
off are a Fire Station and Tooties Grocery Store. Turn right on Bodcau
Dam Rd, go 3 miles and take the first right after the fire tower. Look
for the sign “Nature Trail”. I highly recommend going both directions.

The trail is still under construction in some places, and more is
constantly being added. So please be patient.

And please pass this information on to others. Would like to receive
feedback from anyone who rides the trail, even those who can’t make the
climbs.
