Much to my surprise, I have been named the Louisiana representative for
Team Clydesdale. As stated in their newsletter, TC “exists to encourage
and promote camaraderie and competition among large athletes.” Its
major goal is to be recognized by all race directors and governing
bodies. David Yates (president of WTC/Hawaii Ironman) has said that a
weight category would be added at Kona, assuming that a national
organization sets standards, etc. TC is that national organization, and
is looking for members.

Perhaps you can mention something in your newsletters and/or emails for
people to contact me if they are interested. Also, TC is not just for
triathletes — its also for duathletes, bikers, and runners.
